“ Some of the BEST Thai food in town!!! Maybe THE best! If you haven't tried this place, try it. ”
“ One of my favorite Thai food spots in town for sure! There isn't a single thing I've tried now that I didn't love after multiple visits! I don't even bother giving specific recommendations because no matter what you get, you will not be disappointed! ”
“ Best Authentic Thai Food in Eugene: Delicious unique dishes all across the menu. Pad Thai is phenomenal and a staple you must try. Coconut shrimp is essential with a perfect tasty crunch each time I go. This is constantly in the dinner rotation! Give it a try ”
“ I was sick in bed and needed some ramen so I ordered from Kai Asian Street food. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and I am seriously addicted. I now order it pretty much once a week and crave it all the time. I just want to drink the broth. It's the best ramen I've ever had. I'd like to try other things on their menu but can't go without order the ramen. So, so good. They're also always super friendly. Love this place. ”
“ This is my go to for food carts in the area. Their fried chicken is always delicious, and I have never had a Thai iced tea here that wasn't decedent or delicious. This visit I got some Thai spring rolls and Thai donuts. The spring rolls were fresh and crunchy, and had a good amount of filling. The sauce they come with is the basic sauce, but delicious. The donuts were sweet and crispy. I was worried they would have too much oil, but it wasn't an issue at all. Great food. I wish some of the seats were a little more accessible, but it is a food cart so I don't expect too much. It is a nice spot and has a good ambience. The service was pretty quick and they were kind. All in all a great spot! ”
“ So flippin good! I am staying at an Airbnb in the neighborhood and this is my go to place. So yummy. I had the number nine hat yai chicken and ginger salad. The chicken was perfection and the dressing on the salad was divine. Definitely check this place out if you're in town. Wish I had food like this in Colorado. ”
“ They also have good taiyaki (fish shaped pastry filled with bean paste) and sesame balls! Very good. This was another online order. No word on ambiance. The taiyaki reminds me of pancakes, only they aren't pancakes. Sesame balls have more of a fried taste to the mouth. Very good. ”
“ Another solid place for Thai food, albeit a food truck. There are a few trucks in the food truck pod on Van Buren in The Whit and this one caught my eye. We ordered the shoyu ramen, the recommended hat yai fried chicken and crispy pork rice plates and the Thai donuts for dessert. (Note: I recommend eating the donuts where they are fresh and hot.) I give them 5 stars for presentation! The rice was separately packaged from the meat so it wouldn't get greasy--GENIUS. The ramen was unremarkable--the broth was quite tasty. Both the pork & chicken dishes were also delicious, not greasy; I wish we remembered to ask for extra sweet chili sauce. The food is made to order, so there may be a brief wait, about a 10 minutes if you did not call ahead. A buzzer is handed to you and will sound when your order is ready. Definitely give them a try. I looking forward to trying something else on their menu. ”
“ Located in the whit, right by ninkasi is kai Asian street food. Food truck that seemed to be fairly permanently posted up. Really good ramen on a cold day. Warmed up my soul. Broth was heavy on coconut milk and fill. Plenty of acid which I enjoyed. Have not sampled any other dishes yet but I was very happy with my order! ”
“ What's up Yelpies!!! If you live in Eugene and haven't eaten at this food truck spot your missing out on some really great food, service, and flavor. My wife had the Pad Thai and I had the Hat Yai (Fried Chicken) the Pad Thai was very tasty and the fried chicken is not of this earth... really !! Imagine juicy chicken with basil, onions and a sweet chili dipping sauce... then finish up with a Thai Donut yes that's correct. This deep fried flaky donut is coated with condensed milk and peanut crumbles.... Definitely a cheat day ”
